Abstract:
The multicarrier transmission using Hadamard transform for optical communications is a cost effective alternative compared to orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems because of its significantly reduced hardware complexity. Especially it is suitable for shorter links of around 5 km as is usually the case for access, campus and inhouse networks.
