Abstract:
The objective trends in development of electric power systems make control of them more and more complicate. To avoid of cascading development of emergencies and decrease of blackouts risk the methodological, technical and software developments are necessary. The paper presents an approach to formalized analysis of emergency development; current and prospective emergency control tools in Unified Energy System of Russia; and a software providing solutions of design and operation problems of electric power systems.
