Abstract:
Doubly-fed induction generators offer an acceptable and cost-efficient solution for connecting wind-energy systems to the grid. Compliance to grid codes and mastering of grid-fault scenarios at the same time poses challenges to known control algorithms, which are hard to solve. This paper proposes a state control including pole-restraining to solve stationary and dynamic requirements at the same time optimally. The control is realized using a converter-oriented reference frame and needs no transformation of quantities.
