Abstract:
In this work we apply a novel modeling methodology based on model order reduction for multi-physical microsystems to efficiently design an improved self-supplied synchronized switching on inductor (SSHI) circuit for MEMS piezoelectric energy harvesters. Output voltage and power were increased by 17% and 37% respectively.
