Abstract:
In this contribution the localization accuracy of a distributed spectrum sensing grid for wireless audio transmissions in the ultra-high-frequency range is analyzed. The study is based on simulation results as well as measurement results. The localization is done in an exhibition hall scenario based on the received signal strength value at unsynchronized sensing nodes. The distance to each receiver is then estimated by the received signal strength and the position calculation is done by using Newtons method. For the localization of devices with unknown transmit power, a differential approach is utilized.
