Abstract:
We demonstrate a novel full-service optical access solution: Software-Defined FlexPON. Experimental results of the flexible transceiver show that DSP-enabled link delivers 1.6/3.22/4.03/4.7Gb/s to different ONUs with QPSK, 16/32/64QAM achieving dynamic optical power budget 36/32/30/28dB, respectively.
