Abstract:
Beam synchronization is a key issue in spaceborne bistatic radar system design. We proposed in this paper a novel method of the beam synchronization, in the case of low precision of attitude measurement The presented method computes the difference of the beam pointing angle by estimating the difference of Doppler centroid between transmitter and receiver. Since the estimation error of the Doppler centroid difference is much lower than that of Doppler centroid of single radar satellite, the accuracy of Beam synchronization is expected high. Simulation results validate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
