              Abstract:
The present paper describes the architecture, characteristics and first results of RBX, the new airborne SAR radar developed at INTA´s facilities. RBX works in X-Band, having interferometric and polarimetric capabilities. Its measured ground resolution reaches the submetric range. The design of the system has taken into account several internal loops for calibration purposes, and its modular architecture allows easy upgrades of the radar.
