Abstract:
This paper describes the development of a novel active X-band SAR system calibrator for both PAZ satellite and airborne prototypes (RBX, RIX) by INTA. It consists of both an active transponder path and a receiver path. The calibrator will be used for absolute radiometric calibration of SAR image data and for antenna pattern evaluation. Additionally, estimation software has been developed in order to estimate the azimuth antenna pattern in flight.
