Abstract:
Synthetic Aperture Radar has been widely applied in the field of microwave remote sensing. As the technology developed, the SAR is stepping along intelligent direction. The smart SAR can preform the real-time imaging capability on satellite. This paper proposes a compact real-time programmable optical processor based on Extended Exact Transform Function (EETF) algorithm. It can process the SAR data of 3 meter and 1 meter resolution, or even high. With compact architecture, this processor also can receive and process SAR data conveniently on the ground moving platform. A review of the principle of the optical processor and an image processed by it are presented.
