Abstract:
Multichannel synthetic aperture radar (SAR) systems are regarded as the most promising candidate to simultaneously obtain the wide range swath and high azimuth resolution. The multiple independent receive channels arrayed in the flight direction could increase the sample frequency in azimuth by the factor of the number of channels. With the reconstruction algorithm, the aliased Doppler spectrum could be recovered. In this paper, an improved reconstruction filter is generated. This filter can reconstruct the in-band signal energy and minimize the azimuth ambiguity. Simulation results validate the proposed method.
