Abstract:
The new polarization decomposition method of four components with total power algorithm provides more information to recognize the targets’ mechanism. The region of basic RGB color space that was used to represent the chroma for fully polarization data is not cover the human perceptual system completely. In this paper, we introduced a new color assignment framework for fully polarization data using uniform perceptual color space called Lab color space which preserves not only color tone by four scattering mechanism, but also the targets’ structure derived by total power significantly. In our framework, the explainability and portability using standard embedded color profiles technology was considered. The effective interpretability by chromatic contrast increasing, structure enhancement and flexibility in data trimming was presented with real space borne data.
