Abstract:
This paper describes an Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar (ISAR) experiment using a noise waveform with the radar system HITCHHIKER. After giving an overview of the involved HITCHHIKER hardware and the experiment configuration a brief description of the necessary range compression and moving target filtering is given. The main part of this paper deals with the fine range history estimation to recover the trajectory of a target using OpenStreetMap data. The paper concludes with the results processed with a backprojection algorithm based on the estimated trajectory.
