Abstract:
In forest areas, the underlying topography may cause a polarimetric orientation angle (OA) shift and thus rotate the single- and double-bounce scattering components. Those rotation, if not compensated correctly, will cause overestimation of volume scattering power and underestimation of single- and double-bounce powers. In this work, we propose a scheme which is capable of decomposition of the data affected by topography induced OA.
