Abstract:
An important application of future multi-channel high-resolution wide-swath (HRWS) synthetic aperture radar (SAR) systems is the detection of objects moving on the earth surface (ground moving target indication, GMTI). This paper presents new processing techniques for HRWS GMTI. The GMTI performance of an exemplary multi-channel HRWS SAR system is investigated and the overall performance of the system for both imaging and GMTI is discussed.
