Abstract:
In this paper, we present a system-level simulation of a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) receiver sensor. Mathematical methods of parametric model order reduction (pMOR) are used to reduce the number of degrees of freedom (DOF) of sensor’s model and lower so the computational cost of the transient and harmonic simulation. The introduced parameterization allows producing compact models that are valid over the range of desired parameter’s values, without the need to repeat the reduction. The reduced order model is further co-simulated with a low noise amplifier (LNA) and its accuracy and practicability is compared to conventional lumped element based model.
