Abstract:
In the course of the energy revolution in Germany, called “Energiewende”, more and more private households have begun using photovoltaic (PV) storage systems. There is a wide range of application possibilities by using these storage systems simultaneously for private purposes and also by providing storage capacity for the energy sector. For the simultaneous multiple use of the storage system a new measurement system is needed that is able to generate billing values for virtual meter points in real time. The measurement concept as described in this paper is being investigated in the joint research project “PV-Speicherzähler” by an interdisciplinary consortium. This paper describes the metering concept of calculating billing values for virtual meter points in real time and the main potential sources of measurement errors.
