Abstract:
For years, change detection using remote sensing data has been a highly frequented field of research with different applications. Many unsupervised methods have been proposed delivering information about where and when a specific region has changed without regarding the nature or type of the changes in a descriptive way. Such statements are of interest for a comprehensive change analysis. In this paper, a concept for change analysis is outlined with focus on the fundamentals for an unsupervised change categorization. For this, a time series of 15 High Resolution SpotLight TerraSAR-X images covering the Stuttgart (GER) airport with surroundings is used.
