Abstract:
The article contains a brief description of the Russian S-band SAR “Strizh”, which is a payload of the light satellites of “Condor-E" type launched into orbit in 2013 and 2014. The article gives the examples of the obtained images in comparison with the X-band TerraSAR-X images. The article considers the ways to improve the equipment and build-up the orbital grouping.
