Abstract:
An InP-based 8-channel 1550 nm OFDM transmitter PICs is demonstrated for the first time. The PIC integrates a 1x8 splitter/combiner, eight TWE Mach-Zehnder IQ modulators, an 8-port AWG, 50 Ω termination resistors, and CPW/CPS transmission line connections/transitions.
