Abstract:
A compact (106.4 x 55.1 micrometer2) silicon photonic interleaver is proposed and experimentally demonstrated. The 3-dB and 20-dB bandwidths of the passband are ~1.09 nm and ~1.585 nm, respectively. The central wavelength can be changed by tuning only one waveguide.
