Abstract:
We experimentally demonstrate a nested microring modulator in a Mach-Zehnder interferometer for BPSK at 10 Gb/s. Differential drive of such a modulator facilitates BSPK modulation and offers several advantages such as cancellation of imperfection from single ring modulator.
