Abstract:
Nonlinear inter-channel interference is investigated by means of numerical simulations for an uncompensated Nyquist-WDM transmission scenario for heterogeneous flexible optical networks. Correlation and distribution functions are evaluated and the total nonlinear interference noise power is compared to predictions from analytical models.
