Abstract:
This paper will provide an overview of the SDN/NFV in the context of FTTH/FTTB-based fixed access solutions, and introduces Use Cases, such as vOLT/vCPE, G.Fast (DPU), virtualized Converged Cable Access Platform. The major opportunities for virtualized network solutions will be discussed.
