Abstract:
The Mobilitätswende in Germany is a politically desired change from vehicles with conventional engines to electric vehicles. The number of electric vehicles and charging stations has risen during the last years. Above all a high number of charging stations is planned in new residential quarters in cities. In the future, on one hand vehicle’s batteries will get a higher capacity. On the other hand the charging power will continue to rise. Therefore the electro mobility will be an important aspect with regard to both grid planning and safe grid operation.
