Abstract:
With the implementation of the Energiewende, Germany has set high climate protection targets. In order to achieve these targets, various research projects will be funded by the Federal Government. As part of the project EnEff Campus the Technische Universität Braunschweig is also aiming to re-designing the energy supply based on renewable energy systems. Campus grid simulations were carried out to identify the potentials of renewable energy based resources, stationary storage, charging infrastructure and new buildings integration. The implementation of the power supply grid data of the Technische Universität Braunschweig in the simulation software PowerFactory is intended to react to the upcoming challenges. This paper presents the approach and the first simulation results.
