Abstract:
With an increasing number of sensors as well as more powerful hardware and software, vehicles get enabled to solve more tasks autonomously. But hardware or software failures can still occur. It is also possible that some autonomous features are not equipped to the car. In such situations it might be possible, that no suitable driver, that can act as fallback solution, is inside the car and a different solution has to be applied. In such situations, Teleoperated Driving can come into play. Teleoperated Driving means to remotely control a vehicle. With this paper Teleoperated Driving as well as a suitable system architecture will be presented.
