Abstract:
The integration of proper high frequency noise suppression of differential mode (DM) into common mode (CM) chokes leads to compact EMC solutions in a wide range of applications. This paper focuses on how the PermeabilityLink simulation method can be used to optimize integrated CM and DM chokes. The simulation results will be verified by measurements on frame core based chokes with magnetic shunt.
