Abstract:
Active digital phased arrays are becoming increasingly common in many radar applications, including spaceborne SAR. To ensure the reliability of the system, confirm the characteristics and calibrate the antenna on the ground, near-field measurement setups can be used. This paper presents the practical measurement results of a single X-band digital sub-array. Methods of measurement time reduction, such as Compressed Sensing-based diagnostics, are considered.
