Abstract:
This article discusses digital radar module (DRM) for digital electronically scanned array (AESA) of spaceborne synthetic aperture radar (SAR) construction and performances. DRM consists of digital and analog blocks, which allows to form and transmit probe signals, receive and to process echo-signals. Real time digital signal processing makes DRM flexible instrument of remote sensing of the Earth. DRM based SAR makes possible to implement digital beamforming and high resolution multi-channel modes.
