Abstract:
Separation of the contributions from moving and stationary scatterers to radar data is an interesting subtopic of SAR imaging, since moving scatterers produce artifacts, which are defocused and shifted. Nevertheless, moving as well as stationary scatterers are usually not located on a given computation grid. Hence, we introduce in this paper a method based on off-grid compressed sensing, computing SAR images from the stationary contributions only, by collecting them from local angle-Doppler diagrams. In addition to moving target contributions, thermal noise is rejected as well.
