Abstract:
Since 2010 COSMO-SkyMed constellation of satellites have been collecting stacks of images over specific areas as a background mission. A large part of these stacks is collected in interferometric mode, i.e. nearly from the same point in space, using the same signal and with the same viewing angle; in other words, these images share a common information heritage (Radiometry, Geometry and Phase) and therefore we named them “Genetic Stacks”. Application cases are illus-trated.
