Abstract:
One of the main tasks in ISAR imaging of moving objects is the estimation of its rotational motion. Interferometric ISAR using multiple baselines has been proposed to solve this task and promising results have been published. This paper introduces new aspects in this context, namely the omission of scatterer extraction, the use of range velocity data, procedures for non-orthogonal interferometric baselines and three-dimensional imaging instead of scatterer repositioning. Finally, real ISAR measurements of a ship acquired with PAMIR are processed and three-dimensional images are shown.
