Abstract:
Purpose of this paper is to present an overview of a tool developed by ARESYS srl for the management and processing of tomographic radar acquisitions used in infrastructures monitoring. The radar system is produced by IDS GeoRadar and it is based on a Pan-Tilt Unit (PTU) which is used both to made the synthetic aperture and to observe the scene under different view angles. In the paper the mechanical handling system of radar head is described and a processing chain scheme is provided.
