Abstract:
Linear Frequency Modulation Continuous Wave (LFM-CW) Miniature InSAR system mounted on small aircrafts like unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), suffers from considerate trajectory and attitude deviations. The trajectory and attitude deviations are mainly caused by aircraft´s light weight and low flight height. Moreover, we cannot implement a highaccuracy inertial measurement unit (IMU) which is too heavy beyond the aircraft´s carrying capacity. In this paper, we have proposed a motion compensation scheme for LFM-CW Miniature InSAR system mounted on small aircrafts. Experimental results are presented to demonstrate effectiveness of our proposed motion compensation scheme.
