Abstract:
PAZ mission is the radar part of PNOTS (Spanish National Program for Satellite Earth Observation) compound by a X-band SAR instrument and a Ground Segment located at INTA (National Institute for Aerospace Technology) facilities. PAZ is was launched on February 2018 from Vandenberg Air Force Base. In this paper, the activities of calibration, characterization and verification carried out by INTA during Commissioning Phase of PAZ are presented. This activities cover end to end mode verification, including product verification, in-flight system characterization, antenna model validation and external calibration.
