Abstract:
PAZ is the X-Band SAR satellite of the Spanish National Program for Earth Observation from Satellite (PNOTS). PAZ satellite will be launch in February 2018 and it will operate in Stripmap, Spotlight and ScanSAR modes, using large number of beams and possible antenna patterns, with selectable polarization and looking mode. INTA Calibration Field must cover external calibration needs during INTA activities in PAZ Commissioning Phase and, moreover, external calibration needs throughout PAZ Mission life. This paper describes the calibration field, its deployment and how it is managed for external calibration campaigns. Finally, first use experiences after PAZ launch are included.
