Abstract:
PAZ satellite was launched on February 2018 from Vandenberg Air Force Base. After a short LEOP, it is expected a 4-6 months Commissioning Phase starting at mid-March. The new front-end design requires a characterization and analysis of the PAZ instrument behavior. Internal calibration activities during Commissioning Phase are addressed under Airbus Spain responsibility. Once the satellites enter in nominal operations, the Calibration and Validation (CALVAL) Centre will take care of monitoring and instrument characterization. In this paper, an explanation of the activities performed to test the CALVAL Centre internal characterization tools and the obtained results will be shown.
