Abstract:
A method for calculating the ray trajectories, phase deviation and angle of Faraday rotation of the polarization plane in the ionosphere is developed for P-band synthetic aperture radars. The results of model calculations of the characteristics of radio wave propagation in the ionosphere at the frequency of 430 MHz are presented. They are caused by improvement of SAR data interpretation and by decrease of ionosphere influence.
