Abstract:
PAZ mission is a Spanish governmental radar mission, intended to provide radar imagery to security and defence, civilian and scientific users. The satellite was launched on February 22nd, 2018, from Vandenberg Air Force Base on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket. After the LEOP phase, it is expected a 4-6 months Commissioning Phase. PAZ product definition, performed by INTA (National Institute for Aerospace Technology) Calibration and Validation Centre (CALVAL) is one of the activities to be carried out in this mission phase. The goal of this activity is to release the PAZ product portfolio, with the identification of PAZ operational products and parameters. The procedure designed for PAZ product definition is presented in this paper.
