Abstract:
PAZ is the X-Band SAR satellite of the Spanish National Program for Earth Observation from Satellite (PNOTS) and was launched in February 2018. PAZ satellite can operate in different modes, with different beams, polarizations and look directions, providing images with different sizes and resolutions. To achieve the best performances of products, the calibration of the sensor is an essential task that is going to be carried out during the Commissioning Phase. This paper describes the strategy planned by INTA for the geometric calibration of PAZ. First results will be presented in the final poster session.
