Abstract:
Virtual frequency diverse array model (VFDAM) and a fast version of data block partition based EBPA (DBP-FEBPA) are proposed for step frequency synthetic aperture radar (SF-SAR) imaging in this paper. Imaging validations with both real and simulated radar data are executed and all results proved that, the VFDAM is useful and effective. It can eliminate the severe ambiguous energy caused by the maximum unambiguous range restriction of SF-SAR, and be widely used in high resolution and wide swath (HRWS) imaging. The DBP-FEBPA can not only get accurate image, but also improve the computation efficiency compares with existed algorithms.
