Abstract:
Large geometrical and electrical size of the space-borne SAR active phased arrays presents considerable difficulties during the pre-flight measurement and calibration of the antenna. In this paper an approach to active phased array performance monitoring is presented. This approach includes the full-scale test of the array in the climatic chamber, minimization of testing duration and optimization of the ground-based testing facility cost.
