Abstract:
ASNARO-2 (Advanced Satellite with New System Architecture for Observation) is a small size Japanese earth observation satellite, which carries a newly developed X-band SAR mission system. A performance of the satellite has a high resolution and wide swath, with a resolution of 1m for Spotlight mode, and maximum swath 50 km or Scan SAR mode. A development of ASNARO-2 started in 2012, and Proto Flight Test was accomplished in the year of 2017. This paper describes a system design of ASNARO-2 and evaluation of the flight model.
