Abstract:
In the recent years ONERA has upgraded its airborne SAR system by adding a 2 to 4 GHz X-band capability, a new high performance inertial navigation system and a new positioning system. Together with its 8KW power amplifier, this system gives a broad range of capabilities. During spring 2017, an airborne campaign was conducted in south of France in order to test different configurations: stripmap, spotlight, circular modes, and multipass interferometry. This paper presents the main outputs of this campaign and analyses the image enhancement given by such resolutions.
