Abstract:
In this paper, we investigate an extended set of relevant acoustic scenarios for in-car communication (ICC) systems, also including an additional FM radio signal. In the light of its robust performance in stereo acoustic echo cancellation without additional decorrelation means, we compare the application of a stereo versus a mono frequency domain adaptive Kalman filter under the very same acoustic conditions. Compared to the mono approach, we propose the stereo Kalman filter to be used advantageously in all investigated ICC scenarios.
