Abstract:
In the course of the digitalization, the scientific community and the industry are aiming at the low-cost integration of high performance digital circuits on large-area substrates to upgrade everyday objects with new functionalities. In this article we analysed the influence of different electrode materials (gold, platinum) and a self-assembled monolayer treatment of the drain and source electrodes on the electrical performance of 2,7-Diphenyl[1]benzothieno[3,2-b][1]benzothiophene (DPh-BTBT)- and 2,7-Dioctyl[1]benzothieno[3,2-b][1]benzothiophene (C8-BTBT)-based TFTs.
