Abstract:
In this paper an optimization approach for the optimal coordination of flexibility on distribution grid level is presented. Focusing on the flexibility of integrated energy systems that are characterized by the coupling of the sectors electrical power, heat and mobility, an hierarchical optimization problem is formulated that aims at the cost optimal provision of flexibility. Using a linear formulation of the power flow equations, the optimization problem can be solved fast. This enables the calculation to be done in real time and thus the optimal flexibility profiles can be derived in real time.
