Abstract:
As part of the transformation process of the German energy supply system, a large number of distributed generators are being installed in German medium-voltage and low-voltage grids. To integrate these plants, grid reinforcement measures are necessary. In this contribution, the impact of these measures on the supply and feed-in reliability are investigated. Furthermore, the impact of operation and failure events of distributed generators are investigated. The analyses of these effects are carried out on the model of a real German medium-voltage grid. Results indicate that cable-related grid reinforcement measures have the highest impact on reliability indices.
