Abstract:
The present article begins with the theoretical composition of the communication infrastructure of an iMsys. In the next step, the practical field test realisation of the system will be presented on the basis of the implementation results achieved so far together with research partners from industry within the scope of the DESIGNETZ project. It will be shown how and in which form SM data are implemented and processed within the project in the rolled out distribution grid automation system. Within the context of the processing operation, synergies resulting from the combination of SM data and the own sensor measurement values of the distribution grid automation system will be demonstrated. The focus will be on improving the quality of the linear substitute value formation towards an adaptive substitute value formation, which enables a more exact power flow calculation. Finally, simulative results are presented which substantiate the added value of SM data. The differentiation between the various granularities of the SM data and the sensor measurement values provided by the automation system itself is made and its potential for expansion is presented. In the next step, the relevance of a concept for the processing of averaged energy values, the transmission of which is prescribed by the Measuring Point Operating Act (MPOA), will be examined based on the regulatory frameworks of iMsys. Based on this, future scenarios in which different granularities of SM data are available are described and target-oriented concepts for the use of the existing granularities are envisaged. Finally, the limitations and advantages of SM data are discussed and summarized.
